Larry Carnes

"Many of the feelings and convictions that guide my life are reflected in my work.  I have Native American Heritage, and therefore a philosophy of respect and appreciation of the world around me."

Carnes works are created around particular forms of a sphere - the never-ending circle of which life and all we do revolves. A graduate of Chouinard Art Institute, Carnes' training in cartooning, animation, industrial design, and ceramics, combined with a love of early man and his art, have contributed to his direction and techniques in clay.
