Bill Geisinger

As a studio potter, Bill Geisinger continually extends the way he interprets forms while developing a personal interaction with his materials and surfaces. He is drawn toward simple, geometric and usable shapes and feels it is important that his works reflect a relationship with the earth materials they are made from and the firing process they must go through.

“Today there is strength in the silence of my work, and energy in its stillness, a character my work has developed over the years. I look at each piece with an open mind to learn from them and I continue to expand today’s surfaces and shapes into new work that can only be determined with more time in the studio and with the kiln.”
