Live performance at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts

An Evening with Laura Meyer
with Special Guest Patrick Dunn
Laura Meyer, the globe-trekking folk-rock poet, has been the songwriter-in-residence at the Center for the month of January. Age 27, she has performed nearly 500 independent shows throughout the United States and Europe, including performances before 12,000 attendees at the Telluride Bluegrass and Rocky Mountain Music Festivals.
While based in NYC, Laura is permanently on the road, connecting with audiences the old-fashioned way... live. This is where her emotionally-driven performance thrives, igniting rooms and leaving listeners inspired, if not transformed. In late summer 2010 Laura returned to New York City to record Been Here Before, a CD featuring songs composed on interstates, futons, and motel floors throughout the United States. Following her residency at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Laura will continue touring throughout the US, followed by England, Scotland, France, Italy, and Germany.
Don't miss this chance to see her perform live!
